Goldshorts / Brand kit

A little pixel.
A lot of personality.

The Pixel Pair identity. Built from a real pair of gold shorts, made for a world of games and apps.

The Goldshorts Pixel Pair logo, in gold and ivory01 / The primary signature

It started with
a pair of shorts.

Gold athletic shorts. An unexpectedly lasting name. Today, Goldshorts is home to independent games and useful little apps, all made with curiosity.

Playful escapes. Useful little tools. The pixel shorts keep the story close and give the brand a small nod to play. The quiet dark frame gives every project room to be itself.

The Pixel Pair.

A stepped shorts silhouette and a confident lowercase wordmark. Use the horizontal signature by default; the mark works alone for favicons, avatars, and small studio credits.

Quiet frame.
Warm details.

Charcoal is the canvas. Ivory carries the words. Gold marks the identity and the next action. Full color belongs to the games and apps.

A clear voice,
in every size.

Outfit brings a little geometry and a lot of warmth. Use weight 600 for headings, 400 for body copy, and 500 for small labels. The header wordmark is live text at weight 780; downloadable logos use matching fixed outlines.

Small rules.
Strong identity.

Keep the system simple enough to use everywhere, from a 20-pixel tab icon to a launch screen.

Give it room.

Leave clear space of at least half the shorts’ height around the logo. Use the mark alone below 140 pixels of horizontal space; keep it at least 20 pixels wide.

Keep the steps.

Preserve the pixel silhouette, waist gap, and central notch. Use the supplied assets at their original proportions. Flat color keeps the shape clear.

Let the work shine.

Keep UI surfaces neutral and use gold sparingly. Product artwork keeps its own colors and personality. Use clear text labels and visible keyboard focus.

Curious.
Playful. Plainspoken.

Say what a thing does. Keep the humor light and the instructions useful. Write like the person who made it is right there to help.

Lead with the idea.

“Seven beaches. One problem: finding a place to park.”

Make it easy.

“Three fish. Three throws. One shared boost pool.”

Sound like a person.

“Need a hand?” Keep support friendly, direct, and specific.
